This winter’s book group will read and discuss 5 books that explore the theme of “Making a Living, Making a Life: Work and Its Rewards in a Changing America.” The group will meet at noon, the first Thursday of the month, beginning January 4, 2018. The first book to discuss is Growing Up by Russell Baker. Pick up your copy at the library. The books are provided by a grant from the Maine Humanities Council.
Little critters are invited to experience the magic of Mercer Mayer at story hour at 9:00 a.m. Stories, snacks, crafts and lots of fun await! While at the library, make sure to check out the holiday books…all are out on display.
