INFORMATION FOR OUR PATRONS
Cards are free to both residents and visitors who are on the island for two weeks or more. We ask only for a current mailing address and phone number. Cards are kept on file at the library.
The loan period for all items is 14 days.
All items may be renewed unless someone else has reserved them. Call or send an email to renew an item.
A book drop is located in the front door and available for after-hour returns. We ask that over-sized books be returned to the front desk.
The fine for all late items is 10¢ per day the library is open.
We will gladly reserve a book for you if it is not available when you are here. We will call you when the item becomes available. Reservations can be made by email or by going to LibraryWorld.
If we don‘t have the item you are looking for, we will get it for you from another library. Items are delivered and returned by a free van service. The lending library tells us how long we may keep the item and we aim to return all items on time. The interlibrary loan service allows the library to expand its collection for all patrons at minimal cost. Patrons of all ages are encouraged to use interlibrary loan.
