Learn how to safely build a snow shelter (and pray for snow)

Dr. Bert Yankielun, a.k.a. Doctor Why, is an Arctic and Antarctic explorer, engineer, and author. He is a year round resident of Deer Isle and traditionally does a demonstration every year at the Winterfest. Since Winterfest is not happening this year, he is instead collaborating with the Stonington Public Library to bring you a Zoom presentation. Doctor Why's presentation is appropriate for all ages. All snow shelter construction, however, should be supervised by an adult.
