Free CPR training with Memorial Ambulance Corps veteran, Karen Vickerson

In the wake of Damar Hamlin’s on-field collapse and the heroic efforts of the emergency crew, Karen wrote a letter to the editor attesting to the simple fact that millions watched unfold on live TV: CPR saves lives. When there are no EMTs immediately on hand, one person with the right training can make all the difference in the time it takes an ambulance to arrive. Join us and make our island community stronger. It’s worth taking an hour out of your day. Participants will be expected to demonstrate proficiency, but there is no written test. While the training is free, anyone who requires certification can acquire it for a small fee.
