16Mar2022

Outdoor demonstration on BTM nest removal at Small Cove Park

From 1.00 pm until 2.00 pm

Join Tom Schmeelk, Forest Entomologist for the Maine Forest Service, and Alex Drenga, Stewardship Director of Island Heritage Trust (IHT), for an informational outdoor session on the browntail moth (BTM)!

They will provide guidance and demonstrations on BTM web removal, and address any questions you may have on this invasive insect. Take advantage of the dormant season of the insect and join together to reduce impacts from BTM.

Registration is not required. Simply come on down to Small Cove Park (located next to Camden National Bank in downtown Stonington), and join SPL, IHT, and Maine Forest Service at 1pm on Wednesday, March 16.
