The Stonington Public Library is excited to host Naia Cucukov in a zoom event on September 11th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. Ms. Cucukov is the executive producer of the Netflix adaptation of The Babysitters Club.This event is perfect for kids that love the Babysitters Club books or those who grew up reading the iconic series.
Growing up in a small town in Southern New Jersey, Cucukov had little to do other than dive into movies and books. It’s a trait that propelled her to Hollywood, and to running development for film and television company, Walden Media.
Naia has overseen such movies as: The Giver, based on the bestselling book by Lois Lowry; Disney’s The BFG, a Steven Spielberg-directed adaptation of Roald Dahl’s beloved novel; and Wonder, based on the bestselling middle grade novel, as well as the recent adaptation of Ann M. Martin’s beloved series, The Baby-Sitters Club.
