The Stonington Public Library has been working to keep books in the hands of our patrons since closing in March. We are thrilled to be opening our doors again on June 16th at 10:00 am! There will be some significant changes in place to protect myself and Gretchen, as well as our patrons. The Library hours will be changing for the summer, Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for adults only and Saturdays 10:00 am to Noon for children and their accompanying adult. There is a 5 person limit in the library excluding families on Saturdays, to make distancing easier and a time limit so everyone gets a chance to come in and enjoy browsing for books. Unfortunately, we will not have public access computers or a public restroom but we will be able to take care of your printing needs. We also have expanded the WiFi coverage outside of the building. Just look for Stonintong Library Guest on your personal device. Please wear a mask in the library if you don’t have one we have disposable masks to offer you and hand sanitizer to share. We will still offer curbside pick up as well.
